NHS Scotland Primary Locum £500 bonus payment portal is now available

The PDA has received confirmation from the Scottish Government that the "NHS Scotland Primary Locum £500 bonus payment portal" is now open. Eligible locums have until 1 August to claim their bonus payment.

Consultation and petition on proposal to introduce prescription charges for 60-65 year olds in England

The Westminster government is consulting on increasing the age at which individuals qualify for free prescriptions from 60 to 66 years old. The PDA will be responding to the consultation and are also sharing a petition against the proposal.
