NAWP produces breast cancer awareness factsheet

This month, NAWP has produced an information factsheet to help raise awareness of breast cancer and highlight the signs and symptoms of breast cancer in women, men and transgender women.

MEDIA RELEASE: PDA Union members overwhelmingly reject Boots pay offer with 83% calling on the Union to refer the dispute to ACAS

Pay talks covering 6,000 pharmacists employed by Boots, ongoing since the summer, reach a crucial point as PDA Union members reject the company offer of a sub-inflationary 2% increase to pay (plus 0.38% lump sum).

The PDA has today launched their sixth annual patient safety survey, which invites pharmacists to share their experience of safety in the workplace. This survey is open to employed and locum pharmacists wherever they work.

DHSC consultation on extending free PPE to the health and care sector after 31 March 2022

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is consulting on whether it should extend the provision of free personal protective equipment (PPE) to the health and care sector after 31 March 2022. The PDA will be responding to the consultation and are also on the DHSC’s PPE engagement panel.
